pardon me.

well i must say excuse me from my absence i feel as if i have neglected my two followers for almost a week. oops my bad!

i am finally home and oh it feel so good back in south texas. 
not alot has gone on in the past week i have finished up my classes for the fall and it feels so good to have acomplished this semester.

my family and i love christmas and the tradition it brings. although this year we are in an awkward transition and it makes me kinda sad that i wont be celebrating christmas eve with the same people i have for 21 years, but life goes on and we are thinking of fun things that can become a new tradition. im excited a "new" tradition can be fun!  although one tradition has not changed every year we go and get a christmas tree and cut it down from a christmas tree farm.
this year we went a little outside our crazy big tree and went way too far. we could barley lift it in our truck, we were making a scene and it was slightly embarrassing.

we definitely pulled a grizwold family christmas tree moment :)



next on the list of things to do was to attend my brothers first band concert today.
it was so adorable. i loved it. i was so proud:)
he played 3 songs and did quite well for his first performance if i may say so myself.

So as of now my christmas break has been slightly uneventful.but i got my wish and watch americas next top model marathon today in my pajamas. it was pretty blissful!

finals.

oh finals how i hate thee.
you seem to suck all the life out of me, cause a panic among campus and it feels that this light at the end of this tunnel we are looking for gets a little bit farther away.

so with that said finals im am fighting back. this video is the anthem to my life right now.
im going to conquer the world and manage to have the same outlook on life.

sleep.

today was pretty blissful. 

i woke up at noon today, went out to lunch with a great friend and then took at nap at three...
i then proceeded to wake up at six.
i was only awake to see 3 hours of sunlight today.
it was really weird, yet very relaxing and i feel so rested.
i have also done homework tonight and have finished one paper and have started looking at a study guide for one of my exams.
so its been a pretty successful evening.

im sorry this post is soooo boring.

hopefully my week will be more eventful :)

finally friday.

this weekend could not have come soon enough.
i seriously thought i was going to die/pass out/collapse... you can pick.
so with all of my hard work this week i rewarded myself to go see love and other drugs...it was really good (very nude) but a really good love story.
plus how can you go wrong looking at jake gyllenhaal. that boy is all sorts of fine!

and i soooo take back my comment yesterday about not being stressed about my upcoming week of finals.
im definitely feeling the stress.
but thats alright, if i can survive this week i can survive any, and this time next week i will be on christmas break with my family.

i can see the light.

so i finallllly finished this paper that has been hanging over my head forever. and the most ridiculous part of it, it was a two page paper. im seriously that brain dead.  

oh and big news! 

i finally got my first follower!
i need to mark this day in history, i didnt think this would ever happen but she is a very sweet girl and she probably felt bad for me haha!

i have one class left in this semester and i couldnt be more ecstatic.
finals are next week and surprisingly im not too overwhelmed.
(just give me a couple of days)
i am just so pumped for christmas break.
all i want to do the first week is sit on the couch and watch marathons of next top model and do nothing alllll day :)
... and a little bit of outlet shopping!

...oh and i also cant wait to see my precious family and participate in all of the tradition that comes along with this time of year.

so in one of my first post i told yall how i loved to find new music (to me at least) and how its become a hobby for for me. well i have a some artist i would like to share with all of my followers... haha!

anyways my first band of choice came from the fabulous itunes genius (love the genius).

im in love with them!!  i pretty much have listened to them everyday since the great recommendation from itunes.

the second one band that is on a constant repeat is

seriously the best band everrrr. 
i recently bought their newest album, come around sun down and i cannot get enough of it. 
its one of the albums where you can play every song all the way through and then listen to it again.

 ...but my all time favorite is

john mayer
this isnt a new artist even to me but i still wanted yall to know who my music man is!
i went to his concert this past september and it was such an amazing experience. i loved every minute of it and found myself wishing it would never end.
i know that he can be a jerk or whatever, but i still love his music.
my absolute favorite album is continuum.

all day, everyday.

 

anyways i have spent way too much time on this avoiding homework. but i want to make this a weekly or bi-weekly thing, i dont know if i will remember but i will sure try:)
